Turtle Watching At Mon Repos Beach
Mon Repos supports the largest concentration of nesting marine turtles on the eastern Australian mainland and is one of the two largest loggerhead turtle rookeries in the south Pacific Ocean region. Successful breeding here is critical for the survival of this endangered species. The Turtle Rookery is located 15 kms from the City Centre. Nesting turtles are best viewed after dark near high tide, from mid November to February. Hatchings are best viewed from January to March between 8pm to 12 midnight. Admission charge applies. Bundy Belle River Cruises

Hinkler House Memorial Museum
Learn about the history of the famous Australian Aviator, Bert Hinkler. Hinkler's house has been relocated from Southampton, England to the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens, where it overlooks the site where Hinkler became the World's first solo aviator to fly solo from England to Australia in 1928. The Hinkler House Memorial Museum is located in the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens.
