Industrial Precincts
Bundaberg boasts three well developed and fully serviced industrial precincts:
- The Bunda Industrial Estate
- The East Bundaberg Industrial Precinct
- The Bundaberg Industrial Park, Stage 1-Food Precinct.
The Bunda Industrial Estate is accessed by several major road corridors - Isis Highway (Takalvan Street), Enterprise Street, Goodwood Road and the future Southern Bypass Ring Road.
The Industrial precinct located at East Bundaberg is primarily serviced by Bargara Road and can be accessed by a route bypassing the CBD.
The Bundaberg Industrial Park, Stage 1-Food Precinct, to the southern side of the City, provides for the location and development of industries primarily involved in the manufacturing, processing, packaging, storage and distribution of foodstuffs.
These could include horticultural processing, pre-packaged meals and confectionery products, supported by a synergistic network of co-located secondary business, industry and infrastructure. A total of 75 hectares of land is avialable for development into lots. The site is adjacent to the North Coast Railway, in close proximity to the Airport and there is easy road access to the Port of Bundabert. There are also good transport links to the site. Stage 1 of the site, which consists of 26 hectares, has been completed and Lots are now available for purchase or lease at competitive rates.
