Bundaberg Canegrowers Ltd, as part of the peak sugar industry body of Canegrowers, represents the interests of its 450 local members in the traditional mill supply areas of Bingera, Fairymead and Millaquin. Canegrowers provides a wide range of services including:

• lobbying of government on industry issues
• negotiations with millers on cane supply and processing matters
• water resource development and management
• representation and monitoring of environmental issues, transport issues, farm machinery and workplace health and safety issues, and legislative and regulatory requirements.

The local Bundaberg office also operates a payroll service for industry employers and their employees as well as maintaining a strong focus on training and development through the conduct of numerous training workshops for the benefit of its members. The Bundaberg District Canegrower, a monthly newsletter, keeps members informed on current issues.
